ABSTRACT:
The article deals with the concept and features of the claim. The existing approaches in the legal science to the definition of “claim” are analyzed. The correlation between the claim and the statement of claim is disclosed. Characteristic features of the claim are established. The classification of claims according to different criteria is carried out. The author comes to the conclusion that the claim is expressed in the statement of claim and appealed to the court re- quest of the plaintiff to provide him with state assistance in the implementation of his violated or disputed rights, freedoms and interests.
