ABSTRACT:
The author of the paper focuses on the objective grounds for development of social activity carried out by business structures and its political aspects. Various approaches to the interpretation of the category “socially responsible business” have been analyzed and the author’s ex- planation of this notion has been introduced. Current models of corporate social responsibility in leading countries of the world (American, European and Japanese) have been considered. The peculiarities of corporate social responsibility in Ukraine have been revealed and the ways of its further development have been established.
