It is characterized by a special struggle between two biggest political parties, which surprisingly for the Czech society made a political deal \u2013 \u201cAgreement on the Creation of a Stable Political Environment in the Czech Republic\u201d, signed by the Czech Social-Democratic Party and the Civic Democratic Party. Other parties considered this agreement to be a \u201cdeception of voters\u201d and during the course of the election campaign severely criticized both \u201cpro-communist\u201d social-democrats and \u201centirely corrupted\u201d civic democrats.
